His comments arrive as the 2024 US presidential election campaign heats up, featuring President Joe Biden and Republican contender Donald Trump.
Earlier this month, Musk stirred controversy by suggesting electronic voting machines (EVMs) are highly susceptible to hacking and should be abandoned in elections. His critical stance towards President Biden is well-known; he has previously described Biden as being out of touch and merely a “tragic front for a far-left political machine.”
Anyone who claims that their political party does no wrong and the other party does no right is either a liar, a fool or both.
